Today is the official start of Ramadan – Islam’s Holy Month. It is similar to our (Christian’s) Lent. During this month, Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset, let’s say 6am to 6pm.
Imagine that!
So why does it concern me?
First, I do live and work in a Muslim country, although we are not required to fast, we are reminded to respect their culture. So if you must eat, be discreet!
Second, Our working hours are cut daily by two hours, but not the pay. Yahoo!
Third, Usually there are alot of sale especially near the end of Ramadan. Another Yahoo!
Good thing my shopping ban will end soon!
i also like that part where you can get to shop cheaper items.. hehe..
At the end of Ramadan, there will be another Philippine Holiday! Woohoo!!!
