A Mom’s wish

To all the mothers out there: Happy Mother’s Day!

Lets make this day more meaningful, send a WFP (World Food Programme) A Mother’s Day eCard.

Mother's Day

Honor a Mother, Save Another
A child’s future starts with its mother. When pregnant or new mothers don’t receive proper nutrition, neither do their children, and up to 17 million children are born underweight each year.
The prevention of maternal and child undernutrition is a long-term investment that will benefit the present as well as future generations.
This Mother’s Day, choose your card wisely. By sending a special WFP eCard you can honor a mother in your life – and save a life at the same time: wfp.org/mothers

I am not yet a mother (I really envy you moms out there) but I believe every mother only wants what is best for her child/ren. To provide everything s/he needs. But what if you were in their situation? How painful would that be, to see your child/ren slowly deteriorate because of hunger/ poverty?

I choose to be part of Bloggers Against Hunger. You too can.
