Dead in the Family

That’s the latest book from the Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) series.

But I’m not gonna talk about the book but a death in my family.

I received a call from one of his son that my beloved Ninang passed away, that was Wed Jul 21 5pm. She was more like a mother to me that her death really broke me down. I wanted to come home but as her sons comforted me (yup they comforted me instead), she is a peace now and without the pain which she had been experiencing for a couple of months now. But still it’s painful and I had a lot of regrets. But knowing her she would never hold any grudge on me. I was her favorite daughter not just a simple godchild. That made me smile and reminisce on my childhood days where she used to babysit me. By the way she took care of me from day 1 to my 12th yr (my mom is clueless at that time) until we moved in the province.

Oh well, I just have to think that she will always be inside our hearts whenever, wherever. And I still have my Ninong, her sons and their family. Now I’m not that sad anymore.
